FDA Listening Meeting, September 2024: Laurie testified about the black box warning placed on CAR-T therapies, arguing the warning lacked contextual data and was creating unnecessary fear among patients with terminal illness. The FDA subsequently issued a pink sheet acknowledging her points.
Conquer Magazine, August/September 2020: Feature article about Laurie's journey from twelve years of cancer treatment through CAR-T remission and her training to climb to Everest Base Camp. Laurie appeared on the cover of this issue.
Historia Para Mentes Curiosas, November 2025: Spanish-language podcast with a Mexican journalist working to raise awareness of CAR-T in Mexico, where the treatment has limited availability. Laurie joined researchers from Tec de Monterrey and the Spanish Network of Advanced Therapies.
