"It feels like you've got a team of people rolling a boulder up a hill. So if you have a pause in the resources, some of those people are leaving, the boulder definitely starts going back down the hill and you're trying to just hang in there until you can find that support again."

Speaking Truth to the FDA: Patient Testimony on CAR-T Warning Labels

FDA Listening Meeting, September 2024: Laurie testified about the black box warning placed on CAR-T therapies, arguing the warning lacked contextual data and was creating unnecessary fear among patients with terminal illness. The FDA subsequently issued a pink sheet acknowledging her points.
